世界是念头的投射,痛苦是有心的造作;
The Shastra Says:
The world is a projection of thought; suffering is the fabrication of a mind at work.
Liberation is the cessation of thought; freedom is the homecoming to No Mind.
We humans have, for thousands of years, mistaken “what we think” for “who we are.”
We analyze, plan, worry, regret—running endlessly in the labyrinth of thought, yet never pausing to ask:
Who is thinking? That which knows thinking is happening—is it itself a thought?
The answer lies not in the content of thought, but in the background against which thought arises.
But this “background” is not another, more subtle thought—
It is that thought-free awareness, that space of No Mind.
This book does not teach you “how to think better,”
rather, it invites you to: Stop identifying with thinking.
When you cease taking the ceaseless mental activity as “me,”
when the fabrication of “mind at work” rests,
illusions vanish like a play ending under bright lights—the stage stands empty.
This is “No Mind”—
Not becoming like wood or stone, but awakening to the coming and going of thoughts with freedom.
Not eliminating emotions, but no longer being swept away by the drama of feelings.
Not denying the body’s existence, but recognizing the body as merely a moving image within consciousness.
Each chapter of On No Mind delves deeper into the illusion of “mind at work,” pointing toward the reality of “No Mind”:
• From the misidentification of “who I am,”
• To passing through the gates of relationship, wealth, and death,
• To the revelation of “how illness is born from mind and healed through No Mind,”
• Then to exploring the state of perfection in “living, creating, and compassion within No Mind.”
Ultimately, it reveals a truth so simple it may make you laugh:
The peace you desperately seek is found in the very moment you stop seeking.
You are already that perfect awareness which shines without a mind.
